Like the title says, I have narrowed my search for a new 24" monitor down to a final 3...

Dell ST2410
Iiyama B2409HDS
BenQ G2420HD

If anyone can give pointers to the best value for money from these 3, then please don't hesitate. These all fit into my £200 budget, have hdmi, and the screen res I am looking for, however if you know of any other product that fits all these parameters and is a clearly better buy, do tell.

Many thanks in advance.

I'm just going off the listed specs on OCUK and therefore haven't included the BenQ in this comparrison.

The Dell has a 5ms response time, Iiyama has 2ms.

They both have the same connectivity (DVI + HDMI + Analogue).

You will have to double check this but Dell used to offer a "Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee", so although they both state 3yrs, the Dell might offer more protection from the outset?

I know the Dell has HDCP as well; not sure if the other two do though. And the Dell is a bargain at the moment ;)

On the sub £200 sets I've recently been told their policy is to replace a unit that has 5 or more dead/lazy pixels.
The number of pixels that they will replace a unit for decreases as the price of the unit increases.

I'd have a good nose round the Dell website to check on this. (I'd have a very good nose at the Dell site if your looking for this monitor *hint hint*)

I'm in the same boat, and as much as that looks like a great deal for a 24" monitor, I read reviews saying it had horrible viewing angles/black crush/etc that crippled it. So now I'm confused. That Dell site is worth a look though...for the full specs like ;)

Thanks for the heads up, I had a good nosy round the site, very interesting;)
However, im overseas with the forces atm, and my bank card is not with me, that stopped me going any further with that option..

My payment details are stored with this site, and to beat the VAT rise i opted for none of the above, typical!
I ended up going with the Iiyama E2407HDSD, although no HDMI I thought it seemed to good a monitor for the price to turn down. It's due to be back in stock and shipped before I get home mid Jan, so it's a nice present waiting for me, along with the rest of my new build.

Thanks for the advice, appreciated, shame I ignored it all haha.

Happy New Year all.
