3 Dongle - big probs - help !

Is there a problem with installing a dongle say 6 months ago
then using one now as 3 seem to have changed the model no. ?

apart from the 3 connect software theres some drivers installed and to cut to the quick - both of them dont work anymore on a vista pc

is there some utility to remove any trace of 3 software and start again properly ?

would using a vodafone dongle work for now ?

I'm not sure about all the 3 dongles, but mine has the connection software on a small drive that appears when I stick the dongle in.

Have you tried removing the connection software from Add/Remove programs and re-installing the software and trying again??

yes done that - tried an O2 one that i didnt like then uninstalled it and it seems to have cleaned up some things the others may have left and it now works !

my tip - dont mess dongles - stick with one !

I'd go a step further and not use a dongle at all

I find USB tethering on my HTC is much simpler and cleaner than any Dongle I've used. Plus I have unlimited data on my tariff too which helps

Somehow comes out cheaper than a limited tariff + a dongle... go figure.
