3 drives in raid

looking to purchase a 3rd hitachi 320gb drive and put them in raid

looking to put them in raid 0+1 or 1+0 or raid 10 i think it is (so i have the advantages of raid0 and the secuitry of raid1)

which is better, and will my evga 680i support these raid opitions

Then as far as I am aware you will need 4 drives.

you can do a raid 5 with 3 drives

but you cant do a raid 10 with just 3

As said above...

RAID1 / RAID0 = 2 Drives
RAID 5 = 3 Drives
RAID 1+0 / RAID0+1 = 4 Drives

All above are minimum values.
