3 mobile coverage these days.

Do you work in a remote location?

Just out of curiosity, did you check three's coverage map? Interesting to see how accurate it is.

Yep I used the checker, I work in central Bristol, to be fair its only in the office that I have an issue and I'm sure there is a lot of kit to interfere with the signal, I can get it occasionally if I move round but its not reliable. So figured I'd rather stick with my old network as I don't want to miss calls.

As for home, postode is BS20 0LB if you want to take a look, as you can see I should get a signal everywhere outdoors, but I don't.

That's a shame, like I said earlier in the thread if you are in a good Three area the speeds and reliability are unmatched. However there definitely some areas where Three aren't as good. Bad luck I guess.

Oh god, and people warned me about the customer service....

30 minutes, spoke to two different people, was being put through to a third who could apparently cancel it and eventually cut off....

I think customer service is pretty atrocious on all of the networks but yeh Three are definitely no better in that department.

I get full 4g in office, opposite temple meads.
And at home get h+(still around 20mbps) inside and 4g outside.

Ah that's interesting, i've not had problems with mine in central Bristol, can even get 4G there. Could be some form of interference/big building for the signal to penetrate through, but then i would have thought that would be an issue for all networks. I don't seem to get a 4G at work (BS34 - near UWE campus), but the h+ signal is still very strong.

Yeah I did find the signal great elsewhere around Bristol (H+ anyway, I don't have a 4G phone yet), just in work really, not sure why O2 works for me okay in the office but handy that it does, to be honest if it was just the work issue I may have stuck with it, but as its bad where I live doesn't seem worth it.

Ah thanks, that's good to hear, maybe I'll give them another try when that happens, I'll just pick up a PAYG to test instead.

Just tested my Vodafone network speed at home:

Well you're on EDGE not 3G (or HSDPA like the guy above) so hardly surprising ;)

PS I suggest people start shrinking their screenshots by at least 50%, it's getting silly now and it's only going to get worse with higher and higher resolutions! :)

This is what Three is typically like in my area. Honestly their DC-HSDPA is better then the other network's 4g LTE.

Yep its just demonstrates how bad the Vodafone coverage is where I live,

At work it is marginally better, but as you can see, it is completely inconsistent. This is Stoke on Trent. Not the middle of nowhere.

I am on the one plan and I had no signal in my new house so they sent me a free home signal box which gave me hsdpa everywhere I previously had no signal. Still my favourite network even though they have Indian call centres.

... so they have no coverage where you live, but they gave you the opportunity to use your own internet connection to fill in the holes in their network, so you're happy with them :D

I moved from Giffgaff to 3 about a year ago. Difference is like night and day in Manchester/North West, for both coverage and speed. Annoyed that I didn't make the move sooner!
