3 monitor setup

Hi,

If i bought 3 24" mointiors for fsx and general work how would i do it?

Would i just get a lead that takes all 3 monitor leads and put it into 1? , or is there a graphic card that has 3 inputs?

there are a few ways, the new graphics cards do eyefinity, and to run 3 x 24 inch monitors you will need the latest graphics cards.

what is the display port adaptor for? is it purely to connect 3 monitors to 1 card?
and is eyefinity just a posh way of saying multimonitor or is their a difference?

two monitors connect as normal, then one via the display port (with a display port adaptor if your monitor does not have the dedicated display port) - then the card does the rest.

no idea, just think its going to take over from hdmi and be the new standard
