3 monitors ATI advice, not eyefinity

Right, so at the moment I have two monitors next to each other running of my 5870 via two HDMI cables.

I'm thinking of re-arranging my room so my TV can be seen from my bed, if I do this then I''d like to me able to connect it to my PC.

If I remember correctly, there are some problems when people try to connect a third monitor depending on what socket they use.

I have a 10m DVI cable lying around. What would I have to do to connect the TV, buy a display port adapter, a HDMI cable, or a HDMI-DVI thing?

i would have thought the HDMI-DVI would maybe work, maybe someone else can reply as well, putting me on the spot now

As far as I know, you can't use the HDMI with other outputs at the same time :/

currently using the hdmi for my tv atm for a movie while i browse on the monitor without any problems

gpu is a 5770

I think you can use, 1st DVI port, 2nd DVI port or HDMI port, Then the Display port, all at the same time

Usually one DVI is shared with an HDMI. Just gives you a choice.
