Got mine back on Monday 2 weeks exactly since it went away.

Got a refurb one back I think as it doesn't look the same as my old one.

Yes you can. Take it back and they'll swap it over immediately, shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes.

Damn didnt realise that was an option i just sent mine back on Tuesday. PGR4 and PES2008 out soon to

EDIT: Excellent service received from UPS though rang them at 11am and they were round to collect it at 1pm

My 360 is no longer with us.

Got the rings last night, it then worked after switching it off briefly. Just tried to fire it up again and it looks like they are here to stay, can't say it's a surprise when it happens now, the next one will be at least my 4th.

I'm hoping they send me a replacement that has a HDMI port (does anyone know if this is possible/likely?). It will be just about worth it if it is, the HDMI is pretty much the only reason I've considered getting the elite.

Xbox's repair service is excellent apparently, though not necessarily the quickest.

Their customer service centre is in India and they're clueless. However, turn-around time seems to be down to around two weeks.
