3 splitter cables for GPU?

Just want to be 100 percent sure if it's fine to use 3 splitter cables, as Single connections going from the psu to the gpu.

It's a power hungry 3090, and each cable is an 8 pin to 6+2 x2.

To clarify, each cable will only use 1 6+2, with the extra 6+2 left over.

Apart from the obvious clutter it causes, will that be safe for the mean time?

3x separate cables to the GPU is the best configuration. What are you planning to move over to ? Your saying "in the mean time" suggests you plan to change it?

Using 2x cables from the PSU and then 2x connectors on one of them and 1 from the other is also completely fine. Just if you can, do separate cables.

I used 2 PCI-e cables for my 6900XT 3 8 pin connections. First port(left) single cable, second port(middle) cable 2, third port(right) i used the second 8 pin on the second cable. Have tested the PC running 3dMark with GPU overclock and not had any issues. PSU is an RMx1000W.

Purely for aesthetic reasons, I'm gonna grab myself 3 purely 8 to 8pin cables, without the additional +6.2.
