3 x 4K Worth a try ? - Tri SLI Titan X's or Tri-fire R9-390x (after reviews)

Vega has probably given it a go. He's not that active on these forums though. He's probably on [H]ard OCP though.

I was also a surround gamer with 5860x1080 and whilst it was a wow factor, I found I spent no time looking at the side screens, fish eye was very meh and very common. I would sooner take a bigger single screen personally but horses for courses.

Next step, at least for me, was to embrace it to a point in which I don't mind the side monitors being smaller (27" central vs. 22" peripherals). :p

Big plus to Eyefinity or Surround comes from low FoV games, where such a setup truly shines beyond the "usual" games. Your awareness of the surroundings is heighten and that in my book is the best plus of the tech. I wouldn't want to go back to just a screen for good.

Of course, 3 quality projectors and a dedicated room would be best! :D

hey i get told im crazy on here but he wants to design a whole house based on his love for 3 screens and no one says anything!

Yeah same here. It was a lot of fun for a while, but a single 4k panel is where it is at in my opinion.
