Good luck to all the Unite and Usdaw people on strike tomorrow over greedy bosses attempts to rob their pensions. Picket lines at Port Sunlight, Warrington and Trafford Park.

Funny how no Tory minister has been rolled out to say "public sector workers are being shafted over pensions, it's time you took your medicine" isn't it?

On that note, Francis Maude, Tory multi-millionaire pension thief-in-chief is in Liverpool tomorrow. 10.30 at The Capital, Old Hall Street and 12.00 at the Echo Arena for a "Conservative Business Forum".

Good luck to everyone who works for a living and has a grasp of reality tomorrow in your endeavours at going to work as normal as we have to pay our own pensions if we are lucky and greedy public sector workers as well.

Nothing stopping you taking out a private pension if your employer does not run or partake in any scheme.

Yeah, cos I don'y pay any tax, council tax and my employer pays all my pension and I don't actually work hard either.

Public vs private is pathetic, you either get it or you are inclined to bend over and take it.

what about the people who are robbed to pay the pensions? Do the have no rights?

Private sector workers have been exploited/shafted for years so now they want the public sector to suffer along with them, it's impressive the way the government plays the two types against one another.

In another 50-100yrs when minimum has long since been scrapped the private sector workers will probably be complaining that public sector workers are getting £5 an hour whilst they're only on £3 an hour.

If you're a public sector worker, you don't pay any meaningful tax as anything you 'pay' is just recycled from the money already paid once by the real economy.

Private sector haven't been shafted, private pensions have been slashed becuase they were also in deficit. Public pension is also in deficite and as such it's being rectified.

You mean I don't have to pay tax? Excellent. Or do you mean Teachers or Nurses don't do real jobs as they don't contribute to the real economy?

So you are saying I don't pay tax?

Should I leave the public sector and set up my own business in the knowledge that being immoral and leaving others in the gutter is the only way to succeed?

Let me tell you, I wasn't exactly academic when I left school. I can see by the flowery language you use that you that you are.

20 years ago I was fortunate enough to get a YTS with my local authority and for those 20 years I have give it my all and gained numerous promotions because believe it or not I worked damn hard.

Along the way I have provided personal care to the elderly and vulnerable but the likes of you think that is worthless!

Above all, if you needed my solidarity in standing up for what you deserved I'd be there. I doubt you could say the same.

No, I'm saying the tax you pay doesn't add anything new to the tax pot, as the money to pay it already comes from the tax pot.

Don't be so sure, I'll happily stand alongside anyone who isn't getting what they deserve, the issue is that many people have an inflated sense of self-worth.
