Hi am about to order the following items, was hoping you could let me know if it looks ok that everything is compatible, was bit concerned about motherboard as i've never used an Asrock mobo before:

£53.49 £53.49
MB-000-AK Asrock 939SLI32-eSATA2 (Socket 939 & Upgradable to AM2) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-000-AK) 1
£49.95 £49.95
GX-044-CO Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-044-CO) 1
£126.95 £126.95
Subtotal £230.39
VAT £40.32
Total £270.71

Am currently running a s754 3200+ with MSI Nforce3 mobo, 1 gig PC3200 ram and 9800 Pro. Was hoping to use the memory on the new setup. I'll mainly be using it for gaming CS/HL2/BF2 and WoW am hoping that the new setup will last me through this year till DX10 and Vista. Appreciate any info you could give me.

lol its the "in theory" bit i'm worried about, but have read a couple of decent reviews of the mobo which are making me feel a bit better.

Is the X1800XT very power intensive? does it use a lot more power than a 9800 Pro?

yep a lot more power one of the most power hungy cards out there

You'll need to buy a cpu cooler since the 3700 is not a retail version.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940) (FG-000-AR)

Price: £13.95 (£16.39 Including VAT at 17.5%)

That power supply will be fine cause it says its ATX12V 2.0 24pin.

Yes thats a good idea.

Thanks for the advice guys, feel better about ordering and that PSU will be able to handle new setup. Was going to order the freezer 64 but i've just seen that my current HSF Zalman CNPS7700-ALCU Ultra-Quiet works on s939 so may just keep using that.
