Wow there's a load of tech on there that I'm trying to understand how it all works lol.

Any tips for a new 3008 driver?

One thing I've noticed is the "kangaroo juice judder" when I go from 1-2 and 2-3 gears. The clutch seems a lot deeper than in my last car. Is this a thing? The biting point of the clutch seems hard to find easily when depressing the clutch and accelerator pedal. I'd love a smoother transition between the gears so any advice would be good :o

If you don’t know what they are they run on either your Android or Apple phone and allow you to cast the screen onto your cars head unit allowing you to run things like Google Maps.

I own a 3008, a 2021 Allure Premium automatic.

I really like it, it feels a lot more premium than you'd expect from a Peugeot.
The steering wheel looks weird at first but I really like it now, I got a Citroen C3 courtesy car for the last service and it felt like I was driving a truck with a big wheel.

I've always used Apple CarPlay with Google Maps and Spotify.

It does take getting used to everything being done through the infotainment screen, esp the aircon.
If the screen does freeze (it's only happened to me once), then with the engine on press and hold the phone piano key for 10 seconds, the system will reboot when you release.

Handy to know that about the reboot thanks.

Do you have the fragrance box in your glove compartment? I had a look on Saturday and all three compartments with the different smells, was empty they had all dissolved.

I had a look on the 3008 forums and found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMm0sZTJ9g4

I did same thing and it worked a charm, cost me £4.99 for the freshener instead of the £52 that Peugeot charge lol.

I don't think my model came with the fragrance thingy, though I'm funny about smells so probably wouldn't have used it.

so how do you deal with their steering wheels ? you consciously move your hands move onto the flattter top section when taking a corner, or rotate your arms more (F1 style) -
being able to see the speedo is useful though.

Unless you have a fast steering rack (you won't get that on some ecobox) I don't think these wheel shapes work that well and it obscures parts of the dash cluster.

It's purely a "fashion thing" at the cost of practicality.
