-forceasm should be on, it runs as a service and I haven't fiddled with anything recently.

Launch directory: E:\Fold
Service: E:\Fold\FAH504-Console.exe
Arguments: -svcstart -local - verbosity 9 -forceasm

Looking at it more closely...

For some reason the PC must have died yesterday morning...

[11:44:45] - Looking at optimizations...
[11:44:45] - Working with standard loops on this execution.
[11:44:45] - Previous termination of core was improper.

I take it that is a bad thing?

Definately something wrong with that - my Duron 1600 at stock gets 85PPD on them

gotta either be SSE not come on for some reason (worth adding -forceasm to remedy that) or you've got major problems with something else taking most of the CPU time

Is this why your output has been low recently?

edit: If -forceasm is on you shouldn't get that message, it's only a bad thing if it crashed because of FAH - if it was just a random system crash caused by something else or even just windows shutting down faster than the client wanted then there's nothing to worry about really

:/

edit - well forceasm is there, just checked the registry entry and all seems kosher.

I think I may have found what's causing it too - there's a space between the "-" and "verbosity" which might be making it ignore anything after that point

edit: there is meant to be a space before the "9" though so don't get carried away :p

-verbosity 9

Launch directory: E:\Fold
Service: E:\Fold\FAH504-Console.exe
Arguments: -svcstart -local -verbosity 9 -forceasm

Launched as a service.
Entered E:\Fold to do work.

Warning:
By using the -forceasm flag, you are overriding
safeguards in the program. If you did not intend to
do this, please restart the program without -forceasm.
If work units are not completing fully (and particularly
if your machine is overclocked), then please discontinue
use of the flag.

...looks better, lets see if it crunches them any quicker now.

mmm... i just noticed and went and fixed it before i rebooted the service :o

well that should stop it happening again anyway :)

like I said before, it could have been anything that made the client think it had been shut down wrong - worth keeping an eye on it to see if the machine or client restarts for any reason but it should be fine

The machine itself has BSOD a couple of times but i'm 99% sure that's my wireless card drivers as it only happens when i try to 'Repair' my connection if it's playing up. It did that before I overclocked it anyway...

Never had it die for no discernible reason.

That's looking a touch better, hopefully it'll stick nearer to the Min. Time and not the Avg. Time :p
