How do you change the fog bulbs on this thing? The manual doesn't even mention it an I can't seem to find anywhere online showing you how.

Do you have to take the bumper off? Or can it be done without doing that?

Thanks

Im betting if you jacked it up you'd be able to do it underneath.. but this is just from what I've seen as to the position of them.

Yeah I was thinking that aswell, but surely you should just be able to change them without having to jack it. Was thinking it'd be a 2 min swap out. MMM wheres my jack.

Just queried a mate.. he said if theres no screws on the front, it will prolly be a jacking job! just depends on whether you have the facelift one he said..

I figured that lol. Just needed to know if it was possible to do without jacking the car up. Im going to give it a try with 1 wheel on curb should be do able.

Everything I've read has said its a bumper off job. I think Triple T said there was another method but that wasn't as easy as dropping the bumper.

Its the main reason mine has had a bulb out for about 18 months :o

I drive a phase 3 306 estate, but fortunately have never had to change the foglight bulb! Is there no way you can gently pry the cover off from the back, ie use a thin, flat blade down either side of the lens cover, surely it'll just be held on by 2 little plastic clips?
If not, let us know how you get on, just in case I need to do it myself one day! :p

Guild to doing it and taking the front bumper off here

If you search around the site you might find a way of doing it without removing the bumper but it's basically a PITA and hard as you have to do it blind by feel :p

I hate the spare tyres on 306's, especially poorly maintained ones

Same tech as used on a 205...although all the 205's I've seen have non rusty boot sections of the holder...unlike my 306...that wasn't fun when I got a blowout.

exactly the same here, took about an hour to get it off and it was my sister's car, not mine!
