3060Ti

2-3 weeks  their UK partner site are still selling FE cards on a weekly basis.

Yeah - been several big drops of the 3070FE recently and enough 3090s to stick around for awhile versus demand at that price - just the 3080FE that has tiny quantities and gone immediately.

50% more cost for roughly 10% more gaming performance, over the 3080...not hard to see why the 3090 are still in stock.

Still seem to sell albeit slower heh.

Seems to be a popular story to push by certain pro-AMD people that nVidia made a tiny number of FE cards that were gone immediately and that was it - in reality there have been almost weekly drops of FE cards in not insignificant numbers in some cases 2 drops a week though one of them has been more like a dozen cards.

And this looks like it's brought 2080 Super performance down two tiers and improved upon price/performance currently available.

I think it's the best launch of the lot at the moment.

In a very poor selection of GPU's
Yep, I believe this is the best price/performance card *ever*. I think some people have unrealistic expectations for the arc of progress.

Some of it is that 1440p is becoming the new entry-level res for gaming.

You won't do 1440/144+ FPS on a 3060 Ti. Heck even the 3080 won't reach the top refresh rate of a 1440p 165Hz gaming monitor in all games.

You can't expect the xx60 cards to be 1080p cards forever. That res is going to start dying out.

Especially when TVs are more and more going 4K as the entry level.

This is all good - it's progress. But we can't stay wedded to 1080p cards in the mid-range forever. And you need serious grunt for 1440p/144Hz (etc).
