3080 FE constant crashing

Hi all, this card has been crashing from day 1, anything from 5-25 mins. I have tried everything, do you think its faulty? The new drivers have made no difference. Games that are crashing are GTA5, Red Dead 2, PES 2020, Rocket league (all I've tried)

Spec
Ryzen 1700 OC to 3.8
32 GB Crucial 3000 MHZ DDR4
Windows 10
1TB NVME
RTX 3080 FE
650W Fractal Design Edison M Gold.

Things I have tried and failed

Underclocking 100 mhz
Removing and updating drivers
New power supply (NZXT c850)
Removing the overclock on the processor
Side of the case off (for temp)

I wish I still had my 1080 right now! Should I try to RMA it?

he has a founder edition so he has to use a splitter at some point

I have two separate cables running from the power supply to the card.
I haven't tried the oc on the ram, I can try that.

Yeap running the latest available. It's the Asus prime X370 Pro.

Did you try and uninstall drivers in safe mode with DDU and do a fresh install of drivers ? Worth a try.

I have ddu a shot didn't do it in safe mode, I'll try that and removing the memory overclock and see

Mmmm, you got a mate to at least run it in theirs before RMA'ing? be a shame to send a good card back... or a 2nd rig you can slap it in?

Might be worth reinstalling your operating system, as a last resort. Unless as above someone can check it for you.

Return it man lol. its obviously defective. if ur old GPU ran find in ur rig and this one is playing up, its a duff one.

I wouldn't bother wasting half a day trying to install it in another PC and test it and elicit the crashes. bottomline is it doesn't work in your PC so find a GPU which does.
