I have taken benchmark results mostly from the 9900k, 10900k and 10900k 5.1GHz. There are a few AMD cpu's in there but only for games that are not available on the Intel CPU's. The 6800xt is taken for comparison. The RTX 3080 benchmarks are for raster only. This was the focus of my interest. There are approx. 80 benchmark results in total. I doubt any one else has compiled such a long list.

Making it less of an eye sore. Improved results in later posts.

Great job now we need an AMD fanboy to make a list that proves AMD is better even on 4k and Ray Tracing. Even in the games where it is not enabled like CP 2077, it still beats the 3080 by 2-3 FPS on RT Psycho. :)

Good stuff OP well done

It wont make a dent on the AMD PR trolling but I can try. You cant talk about cyberpunk 2077 without AMD is faster. RT sucks, cant see no difference from raster. They made raster reflections look worse than RT. Al the arguments are just lies basically. They know it too and the mod lets them flame and troll like its 2023.

TL DR if anyone is not familiar with this users MO, remove any result that puts a 6000 series GPU in a favourable light. Doing this will enable a 3080 win across all resolutions.

This forum has went to trash lol. From most reviews the 6800xt showed it's strength at 1080p and 1440p. The 3080 showed up good at 4k. At release the RT performance on past games was massively in favour of Nvidia especially on the games they sponsored, the games that AMD sponsored with RT show up different. Cyberpunk is the new battering ram as to why you should buy an RTX card. Am i missing anything?

You missed how OLED is the best screen technology and Ray Tracing and HDR don't mean a dime if you don't have OLED. That about sums it up

Lol, well said. :rolleyes::D

Please attack the arguement and not me personally. Were is your evidence, given I am using the above approx 80 game benchmarks which games would tip the balance for AMD? Given all information is being provide, why not substitute claims of bias with clear evidence of bias?

And your MO as a loyal employee of AMD so you're hardly subjective on these topics :)

Dont bite, stay civil. Attack only the argument. Dont give the mod reason to GC strike you. Yes his post was just a personal attack to start an argument but they can get away with it.

A this info is very well and good but if we could actually get hold of a damn card for ourselves we could do our own testing, be it Nvidia or AMD!

A 3080 and 6800xt would be nice. Then I could do lots of benchmarks myself. Would do the different presets for each game. The money tree can only afford one card, if I ever see it. So likely will never happen.

Both cards are more than powerful enough at lower resolution and that’s probably why some sites don’t test them at 1080p, in the same way you wouldn’t test a gtx 1060 at 720p.

I think in the current climate most people would be happy with ‘either/or’. There are ways to differentiate these cards but plain raster performance is too similar between the cards to be used in any way as a useful yardstick.

AMD are back with a competitive product which in turn will push nvidia to give us larger gains in the 4000 series and not another Turing.

This generation you're not really going wrong buying either card as even in the the most accurate benchmarks there is only a few fps difference and what it really boils down to is raytracing.
