3080 stock recovering?

Not as disappointed as those who buy supers only to find RDNA3 blows them away 3 months later.

I don't see how they are going to release RDNA3 that soon, I wouldn't expect it with ZEN3+, more likely to be released with ZEN4 at around Q3 2022.. although I'm guessing they'll try and beat the RTX 4000 to market.

They released RDNA2 14 months after RDNA so why not try and get RDNA3 in a similar time frame? Would make Nvidia look really dumb if they had only just released super cards and would hurt their margins.

If they do get RDNA3 out that soon and the performance leaks are true then Nvidia will look very silly as it will smash the super series x2 :cry:

I understand that any stab at a release date is very much speculation at the moment. Last I heard is 12+ months from now for RDNA3. If 3000 super series is out around January (they are said to be in production now) and RDNA 3 is next summer, then not really much point getting a super card.

I couldn't held out this long..for a card think I would have cancelled buy now .

I think the idea is people are not waiting, maybe some, but I am guessing the majority have already got themselves sorted by now.

Either way, why would you ever cancel the order now, if it does turn up you could literally flip it and double your money in a day, or sell whatever you bought instead and keep it.

I do think it's a little naughty that the suppliers to OCUK (if what we have been told is true) adjust the price whilst OCUK have to honour the original price.

They will loose out on each one delivered now, in some cases that could be a fair chunk of money, which also makes me wonder how keen OCUK are to even fulfill the backlog. I could be way off the mark there though, and apologies if I am, if I am honest after getting lucky on one of OCUKs voucher code deals I have a lot of respect for them so doubt it.
