30Gbs Usage

Hi Guys

I am with Pipex and have recently been told that my internet usuage for my network of 5PCs was 30Gb's for December and my parents have just reduced the package to a limit of 30Gbs to get a better price as we were un-metered.

I would like to monitor our Bandwidth usage for either the network or each PC, is there any free software that can keep logs?

You're router should tell you bandwidth used.

DUmeter/Netmeter will give statistics for each machine but AFAIK it will give data for everything that's transferred over the network.
Your router might give a count of how much has been transferred through it since it was switched on and if it supports SNMP, something like MRTG/PRTG/Cacti would give graphs and numbers.

I reset my router last night as it crashed.

I might just setup an old machine with untangle firewall to do that for me and that way I can filter content for my siblings machines.
