30th anniversary of the ZX spectrum !

If anyone is interested in some speccy nostalgia check out some of the remakes :D http://www.worldofspectrum.org/remakes.cgi i highly recommend Head Over Heels, Exolon, Batman and Quazatron... :D
Best free game ever on a Your Sinclair covertape goes to - Quazatron. Always pop onto that site on the odd occasion to play it...

Still need to play Advanced Lawnmower Simulator and that game with a bike and just trees that was voted no1 best game by YS

I remember getting that one. Always loved that game! Magnetron was good but flipping hard!

From Wiki : It was acquired by Infogrames in 1996 and renamed to Infogrames UK in 1998, and again in 2004 to Atari UK, and once again in 2009 now known as Atari, Inc.

I had no idea, especially that Infogrames had aquired them.

I did since I used to work for Ocean and then Gargoyle Games as a game programmer (free lance) - can't believe I was doing that at only 15

WTF - never knew there was a sequel! Just such a shame it had no save IIRC.

Anyone remember the Super Mario Bros rip off that YS did and provided the code for over several issues but made some code errors so it never actually worked. Think it took a few issues til they reprinted the correct code.

I miss cyan...
Was that the one where you had to cross the road first. If so yes.

Anyone remember Fat Worm Blows a Sparky.
Yep thats the one - dont remember the one you mentioned...

Ahh, memories.

Had a rubber keyed Speccy 48k to start, then upgraded to the James Bond special edition Speccy +2, complete with light gun :p
