Sorry if this has been asked before but what difference will 32bit gaming make to 64bit? What kind of improvements will the difference in architecture make? Maybe nothing at the moment but in the future.

not a tech bod

I,m not a tech bod or really that well up on games ,but i would say one thing would be speed and better graphics ,plus a memory thing ..one of the other tech guys will add to this .. ;)

Games will run better in 64-bit.... when they are coded in 64-bit.
yes thats what i read too,and at present there are no x64 bit games right ,or very few ?? hence all the threads about which one should i buy x32 or x64 ?? right ;)

64bit is the NEW technology. Like 8bit got replaced by 16bit ages ago and in the exact same way 16bit got replaced not a lot years ago by 32bit. What will be the standard for the next years to come!?!? :D

ps: Half life 2, ut 2k4 etc can be played in 64bit native I think

And at the moment, they will run pretty much exactly the same as if you were running 32 bit.

Valid argument since 32bit was available while developing them. 64bits is twice as wide but someone has to use the extra space :D
