32 inch 4K recommendations

Panel bent double by fat arse of Samsung's marketing and very mediocre colour gamut for start.

Lol, fair points :) I’ve just switched back to my Lenovo Y27q-20 from the Dell U3223QE and it feels tiny. That makes me think that the Tempest wouldn’t be the right purchase for me.

Acer X32 FP with same panel doesn't seem to be coming out any time soon with still no slightest explanation given for delay
It did get a limited release in Asia, but had some issues, with reports of buggy firmware and bad overshoot. They probably realised it needs more work.

The Coolermaster is impressive for the money. Just a bit too small to run without desktop scaling.

Why not the Neo G7
Curved and VA. A great gaming monitor, but not well suited if you also need something for productivity apps.

Looks like X32 FP is becoming closer to real product than vapourware.
Some European shops have gotten it into stock.
Now we just needs fresh reviews for if issues have been solved.

27" would need 15½% shorter viewing distance show at same (angular) size as 32".

Should have LGs 27" and 32" OLED screens coming in this spring also but can't 100% confirm it they are 4K, chances are probably not but will see soon.

We already got that 27"...
And with no 4K competition from Samsung I don't think LG is in any hurry.
I think we're more likely to see Samsung cutting extra width from 34" panel to get 25601440 27" 16:9.

Think carefully before buying monitors. I bought an LG 27GN950-B (4K, 160Hz) in October 2020 and it's just gone wrong (single vertical pixel line always on) after 2 years 3 months heavy use.
It's out of warranty, and I foolishly (in retrospect) didn't purchase an extended warranty.
The vendor (not OCUK) simple states that they offer no out-of-warranty repair service at all for monitors (I expect OCUK do offer that for any monitor they sell, but please checkl).
So I contacted LG in the UK directly, and they said they do not offer any non-warranty repair now for the next 2 months (and no guarantee afterwards).

The lesson here is to really cover yourself; consider what will happen if your monitor breaks outside of warranty. If you couldn't afford to write it off and buy a replacement then do take the price of the extended warranty into account too.
No vandor or manufacturer owes you any responsibility to fix stuff, evem if you pay, outside of warranty.

I'm sure it would be reasonable to assume that a monitor, especially of a brand such as LG, should last more than 2 years and 3 months. Could it be worth going down the small claim route seeing as it's less than 6 years and you should really be covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015? Fees should cost less than £100.

With a 4090 on way I want to upgrade from my 1440p Asus 165 Hz. The LG 32CQ950 seems to have good reviews , however the Dell G3223Q seems to be regarded well too. Decent colour and fast panel with the least smearing and ghosting is what I am trying to decide on, however there is not many extensive reviews of the Dell to compare. What are peoples thoughts for best in this class or alternatives I should consider to stretch the 4090s legs?
What out of interest did you end up going for - or are you yet to decide ?
