Hi all.
Time to buy a new 32" TV :)
I've seen one of two just over the £300 mark, but I have just over £400 to spend, if needed.

My requirements aren't too demanding:
1080p for Blu ray discs
some Internet browsing
Freeview/HD not required as I'm still using a Humax box.

Do I really need to consider 100hz models? A few I noticed in 'that' catalogue shop are a bit too far out of my price range.

Thanks for helping :)

The Samsung LE32C530 gets really good reviews. It can be had for around £310.

I'm considering getting one soon for blu ray, PC, TV use in the future. It's 'only' 50hz but apparently performs very well.

You can get the 40" model for £400 if you want something bigger.

Hi Fozzybear
I'll check out reviews for this LE32C550 :) I think this is the one I've been reading about, the lettering is the same (I think). 40" would be a bit too big for the corner though so I'll stick to a 32".

What 32" HDTV for ~£350?

Sorry to hijack the thread, I was just about to post my own "spec me" for a 32" :) As title, what 32" TV would anyone recommend? Just joined the 21st centry and got Sky HD put in, now need to get rid of my 28" Sony CRT :D

Max budget is around £400 I guess, lower the better mind!

The Samsung above looks good from reviews. I'm an AV noob though

Take a look on the moneybag noises site. You can get one the following all reasonable screens for the £400 price point.

Samsung LE32B450 - £270
Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX401 - £329
Samsung LE40B530 - £379

How likely are LCD TVs prone to break? Been thinking of getting the Samsun LE32C530 too but not sure whether to get it with 5 year warranty.
