When Windows 7 first appeared it was slightly debatable due to a possible lack of drivers.However this is certainly not now the case. Go 64bit!

I don't entertain x86/32bit any more. Its always x64 for me. The main reason is the 4gb RAM limit on 32bit. With RAM prices so cheap ATM you can just throw RAM into x64 builds.
