32 vs 64 bit what should i go for?

I don't entertain x86/32bit any more. Its always x64 for me. The main reason is the 4gb RAM limit on 32bit. With RAM prices so cheap ATM you can just throw RAM into x64 builds.

Unless there's applications which you use which won't work with 32bit , go with 64.

99.9% applications work on 64 from my experience..

When Windows 7 first appeared it was slightly debatable due to a possible lack of drivers. However this is certainly not now the case. Go 64bit!

64-Bit has been the best bet since Vista launch, XP 64-bit is and will always be a no go :).

Go for 64Bit and forget about it :).

i dont see the difference in neither but damn? what the bloody difference sorry im a noob excuse meh poor knolledge:confused:

It's all about memory addressing.

64-bit is the future, just buy that version.

Especially since all the 32-bit applications I've ever came across have worked.

been using 64bit since 2007 with vista and havent had a problem with drivers in that time

i dont see a reason these days to run 32bit its the past

32 bit limits the maximum amount of memory Windows can use, especially with todays graphics cards having gigs of memory it could make Windows see even less of it.

64 bit solves this problem (for now and probably will stay solved for quite a long time) so you won't get any problems with Windows not being able to detect all your memory.

People who use 32 bit nowadays have it because they either, had it already preinstalled, don't have more than 2-3gb installed in their pc, have no clue what the difference is or they have bespoke software/drivers that would only run on 32 bit systems.

Like everyone's said 64 bit is the sensible choice nowadays, all the problems with drivers and software not working has long gone since Vista made the transition to 64 bit speed up.

This.

Also you can still install any program that isnt specifically 64 bit as the install also creates a 32bit program files folder.
