320.18 Nvidia Drivers - Report your issues here

Unofficial mods to drivers I am pretty sure would blow your warranty.

If that were true then they could say that running unoffical mods for anything would void warranty as it could have an effect on your gfx card (e.g. mobo bios affecting gfx card, or in the extreme unofficial mods for games which may be coded badly and overly stress ur GPU, etc.).

am I right in thinking that most if not all the problems with 320.18 driver is with older gpu's not the newer 7 series, most people reporting problems are using 4 series from what I can see atm. I have no problems using these drivers and temps seem to be fine for me not gone above 61 with a custom fan profile on my gtx 780.

Seems that way. I am not even sure if it is just coincidence.

I have had these 320.18 drivers installed on my wifes computer (hoping they would kill the GPU so I can do a new build) but no problems so far. She is on an old E chip with an 8800GT. I have also done a fair bit of researching into this and it seems like 7 or 8 people claiming that the 320.18 drivers have killed their GPU and everyone else who is talking about it is just linking those 7 or 8 cases.

I am no expert but surely if they were killing GPU's, there would be 100's by now?

@Greg lol not a bad idea, might stick my old GTX280 in my girlfriends PC and give it a try.. the card is on it's way out anyway the new drivers might be enough to finish the job :D

You know that :D

Seriously though, I was/am begging for these to kill the GPU, so I could get an I5 coupled with a 7950. She has clamped my spending but if her computer goes down, she would need those :D

:D

Greg's Wife : "Greg, something's up with my pc!"

Greg : "Oh no, what on earth is wrong with it now! :( Well, I 'suppose' we'll have to get something to replace it. Grrr." *

*Turns to the would be audience :

Why wait for an excuse, just kill her motherboard when she's not looking and problem solved. :D

I am using 670 gigabyte wind-force, and never had any probs, but thought i ll uninstall the 320.18's drivers, and put the 314.22 back on,
but before I uninstalled I had checked the temps for both drivers with GW2 and BF3,
I set both games on max details and played them for a while and these are the results I attained with no artifacts

320.18 on GW2, 70, on BF3 65

314.22 on GW2, 63, on BF3 60

It is never touched.... Like I said previous, I was hoping that it would die like others have said but so far it hasn't. To be fair, temps only go to 97c when on full load but that is an awful sounding fan. I will keep pushing it.
