320.18 Nvidia Drivers - Report your issues here

My 480 was artifacting like mad on these too, luckily I rolled back pretty quickly and the issues went away. Doesn't fill me with confidence though.

There is an issue, not just with them damaging cards but also bad rendering errors in certain games, regardless we need new drivers. I dont have a choice with a 780, I havent played any games on it yet as a precaution

they work fine for me and they always have. you hypercondriacs need to calm your little jimmies down.

They have not damaged any of my GPUs I have used them on (12 in total) but the drivers are not very good for gaming and need sorting.

Perhaps you could give us some more meaningful info than just saying

you hypercondriacs need to calm your little jimmies down.

Could you tell us what your system is, what card you are using, if it is overclocked and what games you play on it.

Anyone had any problems with Skyrim? Just crashes mine on launch. Lose video sync then the driver stops responding. Sometimes it will load to the main menu but it will be frozen and pop in and out

Very strange. Been playing other games fine.

Been using them for a while now and its still working perfect for me, But still quite a few people are having problems and doesn't fill my confidence in Nvidia as they haven't released something to fight this.

since updating to 320.18 drivers i had nothing but trouble playing bf3 constant crashes / freezes within 3-5 mins playing these's with 680 gtx in sli set up. in the end reverted back to 314.22 since all ok

They should just release a new set called 320.19 and see if people still have issues :p
I know roll backs are already proving theres some kind of issue but I can't help but think there are a lot of people just trolling or there is some kind of other instability on peoples systems.

Man I know what it must feel like to have seen a UFO, I've always been a 'software cant damage hardware' kinda guy, but I watched a 570 SLi setup practically start to smoke playing Call of Juarez Gunslinger with 320.18 and both the GPU fans runnning full tilt in a Silverstone FT-01. Immediate regression. The system was i7 3770,Gigabyte z68,570SLi,16gb ram,500gb SSD, Windows 8 x64 pro.

I've been a systems/server engineer since the Windows 3.1 days, I know what I saw dammit ;-)

Strange one, if I RDP from work to my PC at home then I cannot resume my PC when I get back and am at my desk, the monitors won't come out of sleep, the power button won't shut the PC down (sleep) like it should, it's like as if video is suspended but the PC is still on.

This happened in the past when I had an nVidia card and new drivers just came out for it but was fixed in later drivers.

Single 780 here.

ive had that as well

i previously had SLI 670s before and never had that happen before but when one of them died i got a pair of 770s and last week with the 320.18s my pc would not come out of standby after remoting on at work

:mad::rolleyes:

Google, Aliens stole me dog ;)

Its on the interweb, it must be the truth

Ok stick to the 320.18 driver feedback thread on geforce.com forums, not the most technically proficient group I'll grant you (think one small evolutionary step up from a console gamer) but you get the gist

You would have thought by now that someone who is skilled in ripping drivers apart or a GPU guru would have supplied some evidence to what is happening but not one person has gave a reason in the entire Internet world that I have seen. Surely someone must know what is going on or at least speculate to the reason.
