Nothing to roll back to for 7** series users unfortunately.

Isn't it usually the case that earlier drivers always work with new cards? If so, nvidia must have done something specific to these drivers, or the 7** series must have something particualrly different about them, to prohibit their use with older drivers. Maybe this change is where the problem lies.

Why is everybody not been affected? Don't know but look at the stuttering bug from last year, not everyone was affected with that either.

All the more reason why people need to be more precise when they report problems.

On the NVidia website there are three drivers in the 320.xx family, 320.00, 320.14, and 320.18. I have used them all and from what I can make of it they all behave the same. If people are not careful they could ditch 320.18 in favour of 320.00 or 320.14 and still be in the same situation. It seems to me everyone has jumped on the 320.18 bandwagon and in all likelihood the other two are just as bad, but are not getting the negative publicity.

All the 320.XX are broken for me in BF3. I'm on 314.22 with a mod ini to run my GTX 780 but now I'm getting a TDR... I'm very annoyed as I moved from the Red team to the green & the 1st drivers I've installed from Nvid is these piece of **** !...

It makes me LOL when you get the people defending Nivdia about there muts nuts drivers only for them to Fry cards & brake our games !

The sooner they get a fix the better...

I don't think it will take much longer, one option NVidia have is to tweak the 314.22 drivers so that the GTX 780 can use them. If a Titan can run on them it should not be much effort for NVidia to get a GTX 780 on them.

^ this should have been done in week 1! Should never have removed the support tbh, what is so special about the 320.** that they didnt want 770/780 using anything before it?

Nothing probably, they just happened to be the launch drivers. The 320.xx family of drivers do give a nice little performance boost compared to the 314.xx family. NVidia probably figured that the 320.xx drivers would show the GTX 780 in the best light performance wise. Unfortunately we all know what happens to the best laid plans, they can turn to.........

Strange. I played the full single player game on these drivers with my Titan and had zero issues. I Can't see why the 780 should be any different.

In all honesty I can't say I have had any issues with any game. It just works.

There are many people that seem to have zero issues with them but myself & 3 others (780 - 660ti - 670) who play all have the same issues ? I'm going to un-install MSIAB, Asus software & Fraps, will update the directX windows files to see if any of these affect my TDR with the modded 314.22 but if that fails I'm stuck with nothing that works ?

I had problems with the GTX670 on lunch day with compatibility so I move to the HD7970 that was floorless ! Move back with Nvidia & issues again...

I'm hoping with the lunch of the GTX760 they will get a new driver out & end this ?

I don't know the history with your problems but I have had other issues where a full reinstall sorted the problem. I would suggest a reinstall with minimal hardware and start from there. A pain but I bet your have already spent a significant amount of time with this already. The 780 is really worth the effort, cracking card from Nvidia.

Yeah, I'm thinking that way too... Won't take that long but its being bothered ! lol...

Broken how? I play BF3 a lot and haven't really noticed anything out of the ordinary from my perspective with a same class GPU (titan).

Artifacting , It will be fine for an hour some times more but then the textures will start to fail & go purple/pink then I get polygons & can see nothing in the end, then its Alt + F4 to Battlelog ! Its a widely known fault of these drivers for some of us, some are fine with them but it would be nice to get some working drivers for my nice new GTX780 as all of the drivers that Nvidia offer for this card are the 320.XX !

If you loop Heaven or Valley Andi, does it do it then? It could be a faulty card bud.

I do hope not & my thoughts are its probably not the card as all of us with Nvidia GPU's that play BF3 have the same issue with the drivers & we all have different cards (GTX 780 two of & a 660ti) !

I'll give it a try later & see how I get on but the mod'ed ini 314.22 seem to be working find now I've driver sweeper all of the old drivers off !

Yep, same here, BF3 is just broke with 320.18 drivers, mine also completely freezes up at times too, I know there's nothing wrong with gpu as I've played crysis 3 for hours with no issues.

Weird, as my Titans are good as gold on BF3 (not as smooth as I would like) and I have been hooked again recently. 320.18 seem to be good for me at least in these latest drivers. I used 310.57 on 680 Lightnings and they were awesome. I tried to alter the ini file for thse but no joy

So many corruption issues in BF3 with so many different GPU's though, so the sooner Nvidia get to the bottom of this, the better. I would loop Heaven/Valley for an hour at least to see if it does it on that, just to rule out an issue with the card (do it on your modified drivers).

I haven't had any problems so far on my 780, my minimum FPS can be a bit low sometimes, but not sure if that's a driver problem or not.

No issues so far. Only tested on Arma3 Alpha, MotoGP13 and Dishonoured. Weirdly, with 320.11 temps regularly hit 80ºC, with 320.18 the highest I've got is 77ºC in Arma3. :confused:

Hi, just run Valley for hour and half and no probs, it's really weird, BF3 is the only game I have issues with on 320.18 drivers, strange how it only effects some., oh well, look forward to the new drivers.
