320GB 7200.10 problem?

Hey guys, i just built my new system up today but i'm not sure if the HDD is faulty or not.

My HDD is making a little noise along with the normal seeking sound. I'm just wondering if there's a program i can download to run in Windows to check the Head, sectors etc.

HD Tune says everything is "OK" but i'm not sure myself.

Seagate have their own diagnostics program which is downloadable from their site.

Yeah don't you have to run it in DOS though?

EDIT: Okay i've got it i misread somthing about it before. What's the best basic test to do? Sorry but i hae never done anything like this before. Also if it is a faulty head will it show up?

What's wrong with DOS?? I can remember the days when that was all you had....

Anyway there's a bootable ISO or a Windows version of Seatools.
