3-series Coupe

Looking to get one of these when my current lease it up. Will most likely be buying a 6-24month old one. I think if I go through BMW I'll get 1 years warranty or the balance of the manufacturers warranty?

So - budget about £25k - what can I get? What should I get? I do 10-12k a year, mostly town (although it isn't stop-start, but still what you'd class as Urban). Will have quite a few 300 mile round trips in it across the country, so ideally something reasonably economical, and possibly one or two trips a year down to England.

Pointless spending £25,000 on something as generic (Thats not an insult, but there are lots of them) as a 3 Series Coupe and thats from a BMW fan. They are losing money hand over fist so frankly whats the point?

They'll be £15k next year.

I had the 335i for 6 months its a nice car but as fox said they are droping like a stone, I sold me one for 37k and I should think its only worth around 26k now.

Having said that I cant think of another car I would want in your price range.

When I said budget is £25k, I'd be quite happy to spend a bit less. I have a few other options, but I think a 3-series coupe fits the bill this time round....

Is this business use / lease or personal? Good choice of car, depreciation asside. If you don't care for depreciation then there is no issue.

It's personal - I won't be leasing, afaik you can only lease brand new cars. I'll be buying one outright, looking at prices a 2 year old one might be the best compromise between outlay and depreciation...

You can get leases on ex-demos, a guy I work with has a 330ci and had a 330ci before that, both ex-demo and both leased direct from the BMW dealer.

Ahh okay, didn't know that. I'll pop in on the way home and have a chat with the dealer. Thanks.
