Hi everyone, I'm looking for a good 32gb 1600Mhz kit and so far I have found:

Crucial 32GB kit (8GBx4), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 memory module

8-8-8-24 timings with 1.35-1.50v

So far this is the only kit I've found with 8-8-8-24 timings @ 1.35-1.5v. The price is the only thing that puts me off..

I'd be happy with 9-9-9-24 at the same voltage if anyone has any suggestions?

Is there a specific reason that you want RAM that has those kind of timings? It severely limits your choices and it hardly makes any difference when it comes to real world performance.

What mobo/system are you going to put the kit in.

Why are the volts and timings important.

What do you use your system for, do you really need 32gb.

I'll be using a Xeon-E3 1230v2 and I thought some low voltage ram would sit quite nicely. That was about the extent of my thought process! I could buy two kits but would the set of 4 not be the better choice, even for Z68? The Crucial LP kit requires 1.35v which lowest I've seen for 4x8gb. The timings are a bonus so considering both I was drooling a bit! I'm interested to see what else is out there and explore my options before deciding.

The mobo I'll be using is a Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3 and this will be part of a rendering build and for other side projects. It'll be running 24/7.
