330cd auto/steptronic

Hi,

With all the BMW knowledge kicking around here can someone tell me if all 330d autos are also steptronic? or can you get straight autos?

Going to look at one that says its an auto but I would only take it if it was steptronic, so could save myself some time by finding out here.

pretty sure all their slushboxes have 'steptronic'.

Clarkey is right - they are all steptronic.

And if there was a prize for 'Worst value used car in the entire world ever' then the 330Cd would be queing up for a runners up prize behind the Golf R32.

Can you expand on that a bit? Have decided on a 330, but not really bothered between ci or cd.

Have you seen the prices of the 330Cd? they are ridiculously expensive.

Ye most of them are a few are dropping into my price range just now, same prices as the more pricey ci's from what iv found, just now prices seem to be dropping fast, prob a bad time to buy one but hey i need to get a new (2nd hand) car sometime.

The 330Ci's are considerably cheaper than the 330Cd's.

I can find any nice ones that I would buy at the cheaper end of things. Looking around 04/05 with all the toys (Sat Nav + tv, HK sound sys, heated seats, bluetooth...etc)

Dont forget the TV is worthless after the digital switchover.

good point I hadent though of, though doubt i will use it that much in reality. I have seen some advertising freeview, is that just an add-on you can get?

No its a replacement TV module at £££££££££££££ from BMW so very much a bonus if it has that.

Sometimes there is a load of b******s spewed out on this forum and this has to one of those occasions
