if you wanted to spend 500 quid on one today .. it would only buy an IPS panel ..in fact very few on overclockers

would you all spend 645 quid on the Alienware DWF AW3423DW

is it better than the phillips 34M2C8600 which is still 756

any reason not to buy the Alienware

If you can afford it, get the DWF. Some can’t get along with the pixel arrangement, especially with text which can look a bit strange depending on font and size.

Yes I've read that but always going to be some compromise unless I get an oled for games and ips for work. Thing is ips aren't much cheaper in the main and won't be as good in games

Dell 34" P3424WE WQHD Curved IPS Monitor
Is the other one I've found but it's around 519 .. maybe better for every day computing though .

I purchased a AOC CU34G2XE recently for £260 new. Insane value, so much better than my last 27" Samsung. Can't see any bleed or anything negative.

DWF is the better option for pure gaming though.

Bought the alienware brand new with a voucher and paid 624 in the end .. arrived today and it's stunning

Spending upward of £500-600 on a monitor at this point seems barmy unless you get an OLED tbh.

You made the right choice in my opinion, beautiful screen and one that should last you for years.
