OCUk 3440x1440 21:9 Wallpapers Thread

There's not much out there at the moment, so I thought I'd put a bit of time into collecting/cropping these for an album of
wallpapers. Some you may have seen; others I've cropped from 4K images etc. All credit to the original authors.

InterfaceLift should have a bunch of them too. If not, crop from 4k like you did here.

Oh good timing. Just as I have 2 3440 x 1440 monitors side by side. My 5 wallpapers in this format were getting a bit restrictive.

Oh wow!! They're seriously great mrk!! Thanks for posting these.... just fullscreened my way through all of them. You're a talented photographer all right (especially like the Fidelio X1 shot - have a pair myself).

I've started up a Reddit here (cos none of the other wallpaper subreddits wanted my 3440x1440 wallpaper - 'non-standard' they said- ha!); maybe you could post a few of them up there if you have time?

No problem, I'd prefer to keep these wallpapers between these forums only for now though, I've posted a couple elsewhere before but mostly only post them here.

Here are some of the wallpapers that I have downloaded over the last several months for my monitor (mostly from interfacelift), quite a few are 4k, however, they look perfectly fine when you choose the "stretch" option when applying the wallpaper, it doesn't look stretched at all, at least not on my 2560x1080 res.

edit:

the Japanese one is 2560x1080, thought it was 3440x1440!

I've been grabbing 4k or above images then resizing them to 3440 width; then I crop them to 3440x1440. FastStone (free) is good for this, but there must be loads others that do it too

No problem.

I tend to stick to "blueish" wallpapers, for some reason it just seems a lot cleaner and easier on my eyes!

I usually dll both the 4k and 3440x1440 versions from interfacelift and see which ones looks the best, sometimes the 4k ones can look really stretched, sometimes the 3440 ones look too cropped/zoomed in.
