3570k real world performance over my current set up?

Ahhh right I see. From the first two pictures, I can see black sticks of ram, then in the last picture it looked like a bronze cover had been put over them
 
Just been having clear out & found a new Gigabyte Z68A-D3-B2, & I can't remember buying it.:eek:

Did consider a 2500k with the above board, but the 3750k looks more tempting, would like to see the price drop a bit though.
Not intending to overclock excessively but, I still some advice with regards to the cooling, either air cooler or a Corsair H60 or similar, maybe this, but which fan(s) to get.

If you plan to use that motherboard with a 3570 it will have to be flashed with the F11 bios, i'd go with a decent heatsink and fan over a cheapish closed loop system any day but thats just me.

Ah! bios update, forgot that:o,luckily I have a 2500k I can use from my other pc.

Should have myself clearer, it will be used with the Gigabyte board.
