360 - 3 Red lights :(

Wow! Must say i'm suprised by Microsoft. UPS Collected it last Friday, and its already on its way back now according to the repair status website! I was told 2-3 weeks as well.

Rather than start a new thread I'll ask here. I just bought a new Arcade with the intention of putting my old HD on it. Is there going to be any problems with the XBLA titles I own, ie having to be connected to live to play them etc. Also a bit of a silly question but I take it there are no issues with using the old power pack with the new console as it seems to be a falcon manufactured on 17/4/08?

dont put Metal Gear Solid 4 into your 360... it wont work and will rrod your 360

mine broke (3 red lights) last wednesday (a week ago) and UPS picked it up on thursday. Microsoft posted it back yesterday

Now it's just a waiting game.

This console will be my third, my original broke within a week of purchase from the same thing. At least they are getting quicker at sorting it now.

I think you will need to be on live to play your arcade games.
Incompatible power packs have different connectors so you can't fit the wrong sort.

This generation was an insane leap in technology has far has consoles are concerned there was always going to be issues. I never expected has much has there is but I knew there would be.

Bad company killed it. 3 Red lights.

I went on the support site and registered the console, it says "out of warrenty" on the site?

I don't believe that I have had it 3 years?!? Do I need to ring someone at M$ to get it replaced? or do I have to buy a new one

Mine died 5 days after the release of GTA IV, I think I had played the game too much. I remember laughing at the possibility of my 360 RRODing just after getting GTA, it turns out it wasn't so funny

Sending it back to MS will only require your serial number I believe.

Correct, a receipt is not needed.

On the back of your xbox will be a manufactured date. If it's within three years, you can get it repaired for free.

Don't remember! Swapped it out at a store at Bluewater anyway so all is good. One hour turnaround! This one's quieter too and has HDMI.
