I just bought a brand new 360 for the hell of it. Although an old school PC gamer, I like the variety. I'm pretty impressed - xbox live has come a long way
I'm not so sure about all this HD gaming lark though.
Is it just me, or are games (such as Halo3) rendered at a lower res and then upscaled to 720p/1080p via the 360 hardware scaler? That ain't full HD as far as I'm concerned. Some games look a bit odd, whereas some (like Sega Rally) look absolutely fantastic. How can you tell before you buy a game?
I can live with it, but I was just wondering
For the record I'm running at 1080p on a HP h2207w over HDMI.
