I am using my 360 with a VGA cable on my Samsung 930BF monitor and am thinking of getting a VGA to DVI converter so i can plug my 360 into my samsungs DVI port my question is will this make any improvment in picture quality? or wil it just be the same as when i use the samsungs VGA port?

There wouldn't be any difference, as the monitor will see it as an analogue signal as if it were just another VGA port. Plus from a quick google, the DVI port appears to be DVI-D anyway, meaning it wouldn't accept VGA as it's an analogue signal.

VGA on Samsungs is meant to be really good anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.
