I was under the impression the way it worked was this:

Arcade > Premium > Elite

However, looking around at bundles, I keep seeing a 'Pro' or 'Professional' model.

What is this and where does it fit in? Is it just a renamed Premium? Or is Premium a renamed Professional? Is it different to a Premium?

It was Core > Premium > Elite.
It is now Arcade > Pro > Elite.

The Premium and the Pro, apart from hardware revisions like core size and HDMI, are the same as I understand it.

The arcade also the same as what the core was, but the bundle is much better now.

So if I get a Premium then i'm buying an old model with no HDMI and the older larger core tech?

Christ my gamecube was easy. A gamecube was a gamecube was a gamecube, you just picked a colour :/

I think so, though I bet on some sites they just haven't updated the naming as they are practically the same thing.

There was some talk about identifying what tech is in the machine by the description on the box, I'm sure someone in the know will be along shortly to confirm that :D

Would it be safe to assume that if a retailer has reviews saying that people are recieving HDMI stock, that all the current and future stock will be the HDMI version?

OT I know, but divine your sig is in REALLY bad taste.

It's a joke, in fact a quote, from the South Park episode pictured.

all new 360s doesnt matter if arcade pro or elite have hdmi so just what comes in the package you need to look at elite has 120gb pro has 20gb and arcade has memory card.

I'm going to assume that you know that it reads : We must exterminate the Jews...

Funniest joke I've heard all day.

I know exactly what it says, i'm guessing you aren't a South Park fan then?

Okey dokey.
