360 controller lights flashing?

Just playing cod3 and the lights keep going round in a circle, I checked the battery status by clicking the guide button and it's almost full. At one point it said re-connect controller.

reset the controller and reconnect it and it should work ok

Can still mean battery problems, had this once myself and charging the battery pack sorted it. Odd cos the dashboard display had 3 bars showing.

It's re-synching iirc. I can't even remember what the patterns mean anymore but I'm sure its just re-synching itself.

Dash board says 3 bars, its flashing 1-3-4 a fair bit. Why should it need to resync?

No idea, it does that. I've noticed it happening a lot lately as I play GTA. It doesn't affect gameplay so it never bothers me at all really.
