360 Dead?

Tonight my launch console 360 started red ringing intermittently, then when it does boot sometimes the video freezes up and theres no audio whatsoever.

I also noticed the display resolution changing and in game performance in RE5 was awful.

So that's it, dead?

Yes it does sound like its about had it but that's nothing, my 7th 360 is on it's way out!

chance your arm with the ms route one of the consoles I had was out of warrenty but they took it anyway

Well this is what this community is all about, shortly after listing my "faulty" 360 on Members Market, Jake000 contacted me and said he could repair the console free of charge for me (x-clamp)

within 2 hours he had fixed it up AND given me a free replacement faceplate as I had manage to break mine a while ago.

The 360 is now being used working fine, hopefully for me the x-clamp fix is more permanent but it seems to be working spot on now.

Massive thanks to Jake000 for sorting this free of charge for me!
