360 deals

Does anyone know when/if any good 360 deals are coming up as a load of shops (prob compeitors) had some good deals ie;

£320 - 360 + extra controller + PGR3 + Arcade + Any game

And now they are all just the normal prices of £280 a console everywhere!

Just when I was going to get one :( :(
 
You might get lucky around the PS3 launch time, otherwise you kinda missed the "Christmas / New Years Sales" boat.
 
We are getting more expensive now than before crimbo. We were doing the premium kit with GoW, Splinter Cell, PG3 and PES6 and an extra controller for £330. Now its the premium with GoW for £270. We need a store to start up another stonking bundle deal again, then the rest will follow.

Had a bloke come in the other day saying he will need to hide his credit card statements as the other half thinks hes spending £160 on the console + kit, compared to the £500 he actually spent.
 
The best deals at the moment imo are the XBox 360 Premium Console Entertainment Bundle (PGR3, Arcade games, two wireless controllers) £289

And XBox 360 Premium Console + Gears of War + Entertainment Pack (GoW, PGR3, Arcade games, two wireless controllers) £299.
 
Chances are Microsoft may try and dampen the PS3 launch with a price cut...

I think it would be a wise decision not as a panic action but a clever marketing move that would make the PS3 look even more expensive than it is going to be...

It would be great for sales if the Premium was to go as low as £250 include a game and extra controller and perhaps the Core to offer the basic package and game for about £180. Of course its more important to drop the price of the premium more than the Core because by the time a potential PS3 buyer compares a 60GB PS3 with a game and extra controller offering really what hes getting in the X360 bundle its going to be approx £500.

This would mean the 360 Premium in the consumers eyes is 1/2 the price...

Well tbh wasnt too sure on getting one but i though hmm thats nice just for over £300 i also get a few games etc. but now the deals gone not too sure and put doubt into my mind

Takes me forever to decide on things! Took me a year to decide on a ps2 package in 2003

My wife hates me :(

All for £280 2 weeks ago at a PC retailer. Best deal I have seen by a long way, not on anymore though.

You were going to consider XBox 360 Premium Console + PGR3 + Any game + Arcade game + two wireless controllers for £320-£360 since you thought it was a "good deal"

Yet you can get XBox 360 Premium Console + Gears of War + Entertainment Pack (GoW, PGR3, Arcade games, two wireless controllers) for £299 now, and you haven't bought one? :confused:

I did have a look when you orginally posted it but cant find those deals :(
 
My local supermarket were doing premuim console + PGR + extra controller for £250 when I was there today, which I thought was pretty good.

I went halfers on a xbox 360 deal as a christmas present for 3 and what we got was

Xbox 360 Prem
PGR3
Gears Of War
Tony Hawks Project 8
Smack Down Vs Raw
Live Arcade Game
Extra Offical Wireless Controler

All for £340

If I had bought all these things seperatley at best price It would have come to around £400-£435 i think so all in all a great deal.

If i was you i would stick it out until March / April as im damn sure the price will fall with the PS3 being released here.
