360 - Graphical corruption while playing Splinter Cell Demo!!!

Oh no, is all I can say.

Was playing co-op spy thingy online with the demo and the screen went black with white chunks of corruption (sound and game was still running) Dashboard appeared ok, and the death screen appeared ok too, but when I respawned the corruption continued.

I'm too scared to turn the 360 back on in case I get the 3 lights.

It's my birthday as well :(
 
bad luck mate, although it could just be the demo?

you know you'll have to turn it on sooner or later don't you! i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
 
Same thing happened to me but it took another week to die completely (today). Just got home with my replacement as I exchanged at HMV. It was bought in May.
 
burnout seems fine, I hope the full game of SC does work, because I've ordered it. I hope my receipts around somewhere.

Problem is, I probably dont still have ALL the box contents and stuff if I need to take it back to GAME.

thats not too much of a problem just send it to MS instead.
 
Mine was manufactured on 30th Nov 2005, so hopefully it'll be ok.

Had it since Jan 7th and I'm NOT going to tempt fate.
