360 Hard Drive Problems

Great, my xbox 360 has just told me that my gamer profile is corupted which means all my save games have just gone down the toilet. Good bye fully completed PGR3, goodbye DOA4 saves. I should be able to get my achievements back through xbox live but

Someone in my flat decided to turn my xbox off at a stupid time.

On another note:

Just started playing my copy of SSX3 on my 360 after a 12 hour marathon of SSX tricky last night with 20 friends only to find for some reason it fails to save. Anyone else having this problem? Other xbox games work fine, just SSX doesn't save.

I have read somewhere regarding SSX3 and not being able to save on a Xbox360.

what do you consider stupid? turned off my pc from the socket hundreds of times and never had a hdd problem, wouldn't have thought the 360 would be any different. Worrying though, having had my save games deleted on me because of a useless tech support guy i feel your pain

I Back up to mem card now after each session. Its the pc owner in me, not trusting anything HDD
