360 - If you could only have one game...

Graw. Online play is the nuts, single player is ace too.

Narrowly pips PGR.

For proof ;) 30 plus people from here on my friends list, a new game comes out they are all on it. Top spin, oblivion tombraider etc etc. 3 or 4 weeks after a game is out or they have 1000 points I never see them playing it anymore.

Looking on my friends list right now, most are playing graw or PGR, nuff said :p Edit apart from McDaniel whose playing Perfect dark, cos he's a little weird :p

Oblivion for me as well - 140 hours in & still finding new quests (and I've still not done all of the main story!). :)

gonna do the co-op stuff with Creature soon, was getting 10mins practice in while i took a revision break :D

...im not wierd :(

I've bought 6 games for my 360 so far: GRAW, Fight Night, PGR3, Top Spin 2, Tomb Raider and Burnout Revenge.

If I was to choose one from that list I would probably go for Burnout, I have not has as much fun with a game for ages! (and that's without trying online mode or multiplayer)

In second place I'd probably choose Fight Night

IMO if you only have the budget for a single game and you won't be able to pick up another one for a while you should go for the xbox 360 title that has a great deal of "lastability" (is that even a word?? :D )

I think the general consensus around here is that Oblivion is the one that will keep you hooked for ages so go for that, if the fantasy-type RPG genre appeals to you...

Can you do Co-op online on PDZ? I'd be up for that if so.

Burnout Revenge but atm playing a lot of COD online and UNO which is excellent for tash talking or just listening in to other people, great fun

Right, well basically i've got some money on the way which i'm planning on using to get a 360, but don't know what game to get to begin with.

So, all you out there with a 360 - If you could only have one game what would it be?

*edit*
on a side note, any idea on the trade in price of a GameCube (purple, with 2 controllers, 5 games) and an xbox (1 controller, 4 games)

Burnout Revenge!
Best single player, certainly the best multiplayer!
I'm 50 hours in and I love it as much now as I did when I first played it... sign of a great game.

Agreed, most of my games I would class as being good online or good offline, Burnout is excellent in both.

PGR3 would score quite highly if it wasn't for my constant connection issues I have with it. Its strange because I don't have a problem with any other game :( Ended up selling it because every other race the connection would drop.

Thats wierd it gets a lot of online play from me and my housemate, and we never have issues - i only seem to drop in Mission type games of GRAW which sucks as i wanna do em

same here only game i had probs with was GRAW, everytime i connect it would drop me after a few mins, so completed the game and exchanged it for COD2 which i love on LIVE

Yup I've had a quick trawl of the net in the past and it seems to just be me :o

I've got my 360 connected via my pc to my wireless network though so that puts in about 100000 variables where the problem lies so rather than fiddle with firewalls etc I thought I'd just move on as it only effects the one game.

I need to give COD 2 a try online but want to plug my way through single player first... Problem is I'm quite stuck into Tomb Raider and have also been dragged back into GRAW single player so my pretty limited gaming time is being spread pretty thin at the moment :o

yea i finished off GRAW recently on normal - 4hours58mins it took on Normal lol.

TRL is awesome but i wanted more levels from it - still though prob the most "fun" game ive played, no real skill required just easy to get into.

i will get CoD2 at some point, but when i got more time as ill start it on Veteran ;) and i love a good challenge so will need some time to put into it which i dont have atm.

Ive also found myself going back to PDZ would love to complete that on Dark Agent / Co-Op Dark Agent too (bloody hard tho)

McDaniel, let me know when you want to do the co-op and Im sure Krono will help out too. Probably Ceeg as well.

Although I gave my opinion earlier, I would say that if Oblivion floats your boat, then thats probably worth getting as your only game as people who do like those types of games spend a lot of time on it. Ive never really beend a fan of that style of game, would like a demo to give me a taster to see if I like it or not.

I'm going to go Rogue here and say Perfect Dark 0, but only if you have Live....

Also if you have live and a premium 360 you can download lots of demos to mix it up a bit?

I think it really comes down to personal taste really. I personally have clocked a lot of hours playing pgr3 trying to complete all the platinum medals and when playing on-line it turns into a completely different game.

GRAW is another classic and when I eventually start to play it online I am sure it will turn into a much more involved game.

Tomb Raider Legend is a nice pick up and play game a little easy compared to other games but if you want all the rewards then it is a challenge (I'm still trying to complete the time trial levels and collect a few more of the rewards that I haven't got yet)

But then again I have clocked lots of hours playing HEXIC HD and Geometry Wars Evolved.
