360 Intercooler

Has anyone seen the 360 Intercooler stocked in a high street store? Could do with one tomorrow as I'm gonna have my 360 under a cabinet etc.

Only place I've seen it atm is Divineo which is online.

Just checked, Whitedog Games here in Stoke have them in stock, they are a shop.

Ive seen these in a well known chain of electrical high street store (at least where i live anyway), have a look around.

I got one of these last week and its pretty cool. Makes hell of a lot of noise though!

The games are cooler when I remove them from the drive now.

Why should you have to shell out for an additonal cooler? If the console overheats then surely it's replacement time.

The design of these concerns me slightly. Fans directly behind fans is not a good design for decent airflow. I doubt it would do that much good and even if it does the sound of the turbulent air would be annoying on an already noisy console.

Why bother, if it overheats send it back, if it dosent then dont! dont waste money on something that dosent do anything apart from make a noise. Mine has never crashed nor overheated and mine is a launch console!

Yeah well you haven't gone through the pain of sending one back then have you mate, Its annoying! I'm on my 3rd 360 and yesterday it crashed so i'm now gearing up for the worst.

The 360 shouldn't need anythng like this to be honest and I'm pretty sure the intercoolers affect on the system temp is minimal, but if it just helps a little towards my 360 not dying yet again then I believe its money well spent!

I have one and at first it was noisy. I refitted it and it is no noisier then the system without the intercooler fitted. I take it we are talking about the NYKO intercooler here.

And i wont be sending mines back to MS if it does break, straight round to HMV 5 minutes away from my house for an on the spot replacement thank you very much
