OK so who has one and where was the best deal?
And of those who do have one is that Totemball game any good? Would my 4 year old like it?

Picked up the 12 Month Live! kit from Shopto.net for £47 with the £3 off on first orders. Sold the 12 month kit to my brother for £20 and kept the camera.

Totemball is a pain to play. If you have anything in the background behind you then the camera may end up picking up on that rather than your hands (eg. a towel acted as my hand for the left paddle last night :rolleyes: ).

It's early days yet though, hopefully there shall be some more worthwhile games that come out for it but it's a little redundant at the moment for me.

They are very good quality, not tried the Totemball game however.

Got mine from ??????? - just the camera £29.99 and that card game too, but i dont want that anyway (Uno?)

Totemball is fairly poor really, I would have thought they'd release a proper games package like the Eye Toy.

I tried to get my 3 year old to play it and he was just interested in waving his hands around on the screen :p

Be glad, i did have my willy for about 15mins. No-one realised (yes i realise how "no-one realised" can be used against me e.h - thats what the ladies say")

Got mine for £49.99 with 12 months Gold Live!, TotemBall, Uno and Robotron and a headset (spare one).

Camera - excellent, needed a web-cam as well so perfect and looking forward to playing Rainbow 6 with my mugshot on the main char :)
12 months live - excellent, needed it.
Uno - didn't have it so a good addition, quite fun
Totem Ball - novel and pants, if you like the idea of standing with both arms out stretched pretending to be a plane trying to frustratingly move a ball around an obstacle course is fun for hours, go for it
robotron - this would have been fun for 10 minutes on my spectrum, that's about all I can say

Also, I was wondering if anyone could see my glorious face :) you lucky people :)
 
Out of interest, I know you can't use "ANY" webcam with the 360 as it has to be the dedicated one. But does the 360 webcam work in windows?
 
Can you only have one "personal" picture on your profile?
I took a mugshot but I think I might like to have a few I can swap around as I definately look better with the gasmask on.

Has anyone had a conversation using the camera yet?

Yup. Had one for about 2 hours. Really good, no lag, picture quality is nice.

Totemball poor... fair enough your arms hurt after 10 minutes but it's not a poor game. It requires stable arms so a 4 year old might not want to stay standing/sitting in one place waving there arms pretending to be a plane.... lol

They did? I remember the 80's but I don't recall them wearing gasmasks, whistles I remember and that's about it.
