Should look awesome, im using the advanced RGB scart on mine, Tomb Raider legend looks amazing, as do all my games, the picture quality is fantastic.

Don't have Oblivion as im not into those rpg's. :(

I tried my 360 on my 32" Sony (non HD) TV today after having used it with a vga cable on my PC 17" TFT.

I must say it looks better than I expected it to, but is certainly nowhere near as good as having it on a TFT or HD TV.

In PGR3 it's a lot harder to see corners coming up on my TV.

I'm using the cable that came with the core pack for my TV connection.

The composite to scart that is, looks much better on the proper RGB scart, i was very suprised how good it looked when i hooked mine up, theres no way you need a HDTV, i was playing GR:AW on that Samsung job in the shop when i bought it, got it home stuck it on, looks the same to me, i suppose i would probably see the more richer detail etc... if i pressed my face right up against the screen and had a good look, but seen as im to busy playing, it just looks the same, its good enough for me, playing Tomb Raider Legend at the moment, looks fantastic.

Couldnt agree more mate!

I've just bought a nice new HDTV but only because my old CRT was knackered. It does look stunning, but I'm glad I didnt pay a grand out just to "upgrade" to HDTV solely for my 360. It isnt worth the money in my opinion, as the picture isnt that much better.

I was using RGB scart on my old telly and the 360 still looked quality on it. :)

Is there really much see-able difference between top end xbox 1 games to the bottom end (well new and not using the power of it yet) games on the 360 on a normal tv?

compared them on hdtv and hdtv looks a lot better, but is it really worth 300 quid if i have a standard res tv?

Pc monitor/tft gives the same effect for the price of a vga cable, no one buys a hdtv for just a 360, hdtv is the future and then theres hd dvd's everyone at some point would have to upgrade too a hdtv.

Fact looks far superior in High Def no more needs to be said ;)

Yeah obviously, but RGB scart is still fantastic quality also, and as i said i don't notice the difference as im to busy gaming, im not standing around going 'yeah, that wall etc.. is does look better on a HDTV'. :D

Its getting like graphics cards, some ppl buy graphics cards and just stand about 24/7 looking at trees/walls etc... as ppl say the IQ is better on ATi than Nvida, they don't care about getting their asses blown off, as they are to busying saying 'oh look that tree, you know does look better on ATi', when playing something like BF2 they jump in a tank/etc.. and someone else jumps in starts screaming at em as they aint moving 'FFS WHAT YER DOING, GO GO GO, THAT CHOPPERS ABOUT TO LET ONE GO', and they say 'but hang on mate, look at the deatial on this tree, looks a bit bland to me, not impressed by that roof over there either' BOOMM!!!!!. :D

I don't have to look for the difference it stares me in the face when i try it on my old 32" sony triniton and my hdtv :D

Well it probably would to me as well if id used a HDTV for a long time, but as i said i was only playing GR:AW in the shop on the Samsung one before i bought it for like 5-10 minutes, so yeah if id been using a HDTV for months, then went back to proper RGB scart, im pretty sure id see a difference, but as i said RGB is still fantastic quality, not as good as HDTV, but its good enough for me. :)

Tbh m8 i tried farcry on the 360 in game on a Samsung hdtv and i thought it looked totaly crap picture quality, am not convinced they set up properly as its the 2nd game i been too and had the same responce.

Looks like mine does if i run it in 480p mode, really poor quality.
