I bought a 360 yesterday, however the power socket on the back of the unit seem's not right. To get the power cord in, i had to give it a good hard shove and wiggle to make it clip in.

The first time it clipped in, i got no power to the console although the light was on the brick. So i removed it and pushed it in once more, again needing to use a fair amount of force to do so.

Is this how it should be or might there be a problem with it?

Like Davey said above, its a tight fit which imho is a good thing...nothing worse that having a connection thats loose.

Yes it does seem quite secure, but i just felt that i had to push it in and jiggle it about with to much force for it to make a connection, must just be me
