My 360 has just RRODed on me.

but its done 2 RROD codes.

The normal lower 2 and top left lights but also done the top 2 and lower left.

I also found a site that listed pressing both the sync and eject button at the same time then pressing the eject button 3 times will give different right light flashes to see that the error is.

mine flashes
All 4 when you 1st press the buttons then
top left
all 4
top left and right

So that's a 0102 secondary code. That likely means there's a broken solder joint on the GPU. If it's still under warranty then of course send it back to MS, there's nothing you can do without cracking it open. Don't bother with the towel trick as it's a waste of time. If it's out of warranty you can do the xclamp fix.

If you don't think it's covered by the extended warranty for RROD, then just google the 'sales of good act' and take it back to the retailer where you bought it from.

Nice in theory but I haven't heard anyone that was successful on here. One person was going to take a retailer to court!?

I have quoted it before and won. It was with Apple though so online retailer rather than going to a store etc. I asked their customer service department to replace a faulty item I bought from them and they told me I had to send it back to the manufacturer (was a third party product being sold on the Apple store). I then got a managers name and emailed them a link to the SOGA website and told them I'm willing to take them to the small claims court if they didn't comply.

Worked a treat. :D

Oh nice one mate, good to hear the small guy winning*

*not implying your actually small btw sure your average to large lol

I'm a bugger for not just rolling over and playing their game. I remember having a standup row with a manager in a very large PC chainstore once.

I would happily take any retailer to court if I thought they were infringing my rights ;) and more people should do the same imo as they tend to get away with it far too often. It's very doubtful it would ever get to the courts anyway as most companies would give up just by the threat.
